[tip for tea drinkers; To drink tea with a metal straw as tea and coffee can stain your teeth, so if you want to drink teeth but still like your pearly white teeth use a metal straw and drink your tea when it's temperature has lowered to comfortable temperature to consume. Also to have it away from meal time as some studies say it may interrupt iron absorption so avoid drinking oolong tea with meals space it a good 20 mins :) ]
Let's get into the Making !
Now for the making is really straight forward.
Wash ingredients all cinnamon and apple! Leave the tea as it is.
Cut your apple into small pieces so the flavours and nutrients come out easily. I prefer to cut it into small cubes or even blend it to get the full benefits of the apple.
Put the cinnamon stick into a small pot put a cut of water to boil and let all the cinnamon flour to seep out. Boil for 2 mins and turn off the heat.
Add apple and tea to the hot water to seep for anther 3 mins and let it cool down and enjoy!
Now you have your cinnamon apple oolong tea if you prefer it sweet you can add some honey to it when its warm never add honey to boiling hot water it will kill all of the good nutrients in honey you are left with empty calories.
Hope you enjoy this drink and let me know if you like it !
